Keeping in mind, the growth and skills developments amongst faculty members of the institute and teaching fraternity, the Institute regularly organizes faculty developmental activities such as Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, QIP, Summer Schools internally as well as at National Level. Institute also regularly nominates its faculty members to attend such programs organized by the other institutes.

National Case Writing and Analysis Workshop
Writing cases is a challenging task, but the learning outcomes that stem from their use can be rewarding. Case writing involves complex and reflective endeavors as well as the opportunity for creative expression. A case writer has to analyze, evaluate, interpret, and synthesize information and ideas. In fact, writing cases can enrich one’s teaching and research. The writing process comprises four major activities: planning, organizing, drafting, and revising.
Pioneer Institute of Professional Studies, Indore in association with Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) organized a three day workshop from 28th -30th March, 2011. The main objective of the workshop was teaching the participants better case writing techniques and effective tool for analyzing them in class.
Lecture on Time Management & Communication Skills
On 3rd February 2011, Brig. Kiran Kumar Thacker gave a motivating lecture to the students, where he covered the significance of various aspects like Knowledge, Time Management, Attitude, Aptitude, Communication Skills, where he stressed on the importance of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. He focused on discipline, honesty, integrity, and target orientation. He said never to give up because we never know where the finishing line is. He said, “Work appropriately, accurately and that too on time. Also keep doing your job and don’t bother about results.
Workshop on the usage of MIS
A pioneering conception was bestowed to Pioneer Institute by Prof. Sadique Khan with the development of MIS Software. This system is still into practice. The MIS Software generates Reports automatically regarding Daily Lectures taken by faculty, CC Activities, and Extra Curricular Activities. There is also a provision for precious Suggestions from the faculty and staff to improvise the schemes and the systems of the Institute. This software is effectively functioning since then and is an imperative tool to make assessments.
Workshop on Research Methodology
Dr. V. K. Jain explained the Meaning, Process, Types, Characteristics, and Considerations in selecting a research problem, Steps in formulation of a research problem, Types of measurement scales, the functions of hypotheses, Preparing the Research Design etc. He also explained the Methods of Data Collection, Types of Observation, Types of Samples, Guidelines to Construct a Research Tool, Closed –ended Questionnaire, Open-ended Questionnaire, Combination of both, Processing And Analyzing Data, Reporting The Findings, How to write References etc.
